Our area has won an amazing £2.4million award from Arts Council England; one of only seven places across the country.
The investment is to inspire more people of all ages, to get creative and work alongside artists of all kinds over the next three years and beyond.
We want to work in partnership with you, your families and friends and organisations across South East Northumberland, to choose, make and witness some of the best artistic experiences possible. From tiny projects involving specific groups of people, to spectacular outdoor extravaganzas involving thousands.
Why?
Because we believe that the arts can be life changing. They can transform where we live and how we get active and involved in our communities. Everybody has the right to be creative and express themselves. Everybody.
So if you are interested, and live or work in Ashington, Bedlington, Blyth, Cramlington, Newbiggin, Seaton Valley or any villages in and amongst South East Northumberland, this project is for you.
